Bio

My name is Casey Tindell!

I am a graduate of Marshall County High School class of 2004. I furthered my education by attending Columbia State, got an Associate’s Degree there and moved on to MTSU to get my Bachelor’s in Professional Mathematics. I came back to MCHS and taught under Principal Jacob Sorrells in 2008-2009. I resigned after only 1 year to move to a town in Mississippi called Holly Springs (which coincidentally was in Marshall County, Mississippi). After getting married, traveling all over the place, teaching in Fayette County for 4 years and giving birth to my first son, my husband and I decided to move back here to our hometown to raise our child. I have been back here at MCHS since Fall 2013. We had another son in 2016. Both of our sons are redheads are the absolute apple of our eyes.

I love adventure and crafting. I have parasailed at 800 feet, been on several cruises (Alaska was my favorite!) and a million flights to get from here to there. I am a huge George Jones fan, even attending his funeral at the Grand Ole Opry. Recently, I had the opportunity to meet his wonderful wife.

I have, along with my husband, crafted my family's Halloween costumes every year since my oldest son was born (2013-now) and every year we have made a local news station because of them! So, that's our goal every year!

If you need any help throughout the year with math, come see me!
