My name is Rosemary Piccolo and I am the Special Education Teacher at Marshall County High School. This is my 5th year as a Special Education Teacher. I co-teach English I, English II and English III. I work with the general education teachers in providing students with strategies to understand their assignments and complete their work.

I started my teaching career in Michigan at Niles High School working with students in 9th – 12th grades. Once I moved to Tennessee, I worked at Heritage Middle School in Williamson County as an 8th grade Special Education Teacher.

Prior to becoming a teacher, I was a social worker for over 20 years. I have worked with many families and had enjoyed my time getting know them. My life journey took me toward a different path (as a teacher) and I have truly embraced the change that this journey has brought me through. I have a wonderful, supportive husband, daughter, and the sweetest one and a half year old grandson.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, watching Netflix and traveling, especially cruising the Caribbean Sea.
