I am a middle child between two brothers.  I grew up in Lewisburg and lived in the same house all my life until college.  After I graduated from Marshall County High School in 2002, I went to Freed-Hardeman University in Henderson, TN and graduated in 2006.

Matt and I started dating in 2001, and then we got married in 2006 (a week after I graduated college--that was a busy week).  Yes, we dated for 5 years!  We always said if we could make it being apart in college, then we could make it through anything.  We met up about every other weekend in our hometown of Lewisburg (the halfway point between our colleges).  Matt was still in school when we got married because he was doing co-op jobs throughout his schooling, so we moved around quite a bit.  We started out in Cookeville (2006-school), moved to Kingsport (2007-job), back to Cookeville (2008-school), back to Kingsport (2008-job), and then we landed back at home in Lewisburg in 2009.  We rented a house until we bought ours in 2011.

We had our daughter Kezia in 2012, and our son James Thomas (J.T.) in 2016.  They sure do make life fun!

I love spending time with my family and being outdoors.  I really love and enjoy watching my children play, learn, and grow.
